  1. How does one go about launching their brand when they do not have a spring board to launch from? Does that make sense?

    With regards to my personal situation, I experienced success and failure. Leaving a successful career has set in motion of my being on a transformative path of the most wild kind. The trueness that I tend to share with limited few is undoubtably real.

    Attempting to create something out of nothing is by far an arduous journey.

    One of the important things to realize, is that your identity — the perfection of which you were created and where your authentic values live — is different from your “role” (wife/mother/employee/friend). In personal branding, we focus first on the identity. That is where your authenticity lives, where your passions stem from and how you will effectively market your value to target audiences. As you mention, often times life begins a “transformative path” at that point!

    I have a webinar on http://www.BrandMeToday.com that focuses on developing your personal brand. It’s the starting place. It helps you understand how you really want to be seen in the world, and why.

    Keep in mind, too, that my focus is on how you can effectively position and promote yourself to gain visibility, recognition and opportunity. It all starts with empowerment… then the engines are revved up and the car must go!
