Serving Our Veterans – My TED Talk

In my first TED Talk, I reveal how I learned to follow my passion to serve our military veterans as they transition out of uniform. In honor of Veterans Day, I ask that you consider whether you are called to help those who protect and defend our Nation.

This 15-minute talk highlights some of my findings in working with military service members and veterans, including:

  1. The uniform is closely tied to identity
  2. The transition is not easy for most of our veterans
  3. The reluctance to self-promote is confusing to civilian employers
